Meet Our Staff

Jennifer Berkey, CVT

Hospital Manager

Jennifer Berkey joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in May 2017.  Jennifer’s outgoing personality, organizational skills and patience with clients and pets are what helps keep our hospital running smoothly.  Jennifer enjoys creating a positive work environment for the staff, while promoting optimal patient care for our clients.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Kean University in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.  She is also a certified veterinary technician.  Before joining the All Creatures Great and Small staff, Jennifer worked at Westfield Vet Group and Plainfield Animal Hospital.  Jennifer has been working in the animal care field for 13 years.

At home, Jennifer lives with her 4 dogs Jack, Ginger, Crumbs, and Jordan, her chinchilla, Bruce and her red-eared slider turtle, Lea.  In her spare time, Jennifer likes to bike ride, see Broadway shows, and she loves to visit the beach!

Tricia Gardner

Client Services

Tricia Gardner joined our team in December of 2000.  She’s the familiar face that all our clients love seeing when they walk through the door.  She says, “I’ve been here so long I know everyone!”

Tricia does “a little bit of everything” around the hospital.  She helps with checking in patients, answering phones, and filling medications.  She is also a trained veterinary technician and helps assist the doctors during busy hours.  Tricia enjoys getting to know all of our clients and loves working with the entire staff.

In her spare time, Tricia enjoys volunteering with wildlife rehab and rescue groups, camping, hiking with her dogs, and baking.  Tricia has 9 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, 15 chickens, 3 ducks, and 1 goose!

Sue Delaney

Client Services

Sue Delaney began working at All Creatures Great and Small in August of 2015.  Sue’s main responsibilities are to meet and greet all our patients, maintain client paper work, and schedule appointments and surgeries.  Sue especially likes to check-in new puppies and kittens!

Sue’s ability to make people laugh and her calming disposition are what make our clients love her so much!

On Sue’s days off, she enjoys going to the beach, gardening, cooking and grilling, going to concerts and entertaining friends.

Christiana Tyra

Client Services

Christiana Tyra joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in June 2017.  Christiana’s main responsibilities are answering phones, greeting and assisting clients in the hospital and scheduling patients for exams or procedures.  Christiana loves working with the staff at All Creatures Great and Small because it makes her feel good knowing that she’s helping the staff deliver the best possible care for its patients.

Christiana holds a BS in criminology from The College of New Jersey.  Before working at All Creatures Great and Small, Christiana worked at a doggie daycare center.

At home, Christiana lives with her 12 year old German Shepherd mix named Sammy.  During her time off, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends, hiking with Sammy and going to the beach in the summer.

Allison Zuniga

Client Services

Allison Zuniga joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in July 2017.  Allison’s primary responsibilities are answering phones, checking in patients, ordering and organizing hospital supplies, and maintaining patient charts.

Allison graduated from Montclair State in May 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Biology.  This is the first time Allison is working in the animal related field.  Previously she worked as an EMT for Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance.  Allison aspires to be a veterinarian one day and feels the doctors and staff at All Creatures Great and Small will help her pursue her dreams.
In her spare time, Allison enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend and family, making YouTube videos, shopping, and going to the beach.  She lives with her 15 year old cat, Klara, her 15 year old conure parrot, Chicki, and her 7 year old cockapoo, Bella.

Edwin Franco

Veterinary Technician

Edwin has been a part of the All Creatures Great and Small veterinary technician team since August of 2015.  He has spent over 15 years in the animal care field and has previously worked at Madison Animal Hospital and NJ Pets.

Being able to help sick pets get better and giving owners peace of mind is what Edwin enjoys most about his job.  As a veterinary technician, Edwin helps with everything from bringing clients and patients to rooms to taking x-ray and running in-house bloodwork.

In Edwin’s spare time he likes to pet sit, snow board, take trips to the beach and spend time with family and friends.  Edwin is the owner of a 6 year old Rottweiler named Cody and a 7 year old French Bulldog named Drama.

Barbara Soto

Veterinary Technician

Barabara Soto is a full-time veterinary technician at All Creatures Great and Small.  She joined our team in March of 2017.  Barbara has been working in the animal care field for 14 years.  In the past, she worked at Cameron Animal Hospital, Morris Plains Wildlife Refuge and in hospice care.  She also pet sits.

Barbara’s main responsibilities are to help doctors nurse patients back to good health, educate clients on their pet’s medicines or procedures, and assist in surgery.  Barbara enjoys working with everyone at All Creatures Great and Small and is excited to be under the direction of such great doctors, Dr. Ruiz and Dr. Turk!

During her time off, Barbara likes to hike with her dogs, collect crystal stones, peruse through flea markets and volunteer at a turtle rescue.  She has a 13 year old cat named Ozzie, an 11 year old cat named Budskie, a 13 year old Puggle named Iris, a 6 year old Chihuahua named Adele, and a 1 year old Poodle Mix named Nina Star.

Chelsea Bialick

Veterinary Technician

Chelsea Bialick joined the staff at All Creatures Great and Small in May 2016.  As a veterinary technician, her primary responsibilities are to take patient histories, make sure her patients are comfortable while waiting to see a doctor, drawing blood, taking x-rays, trimming nails and prepping patients for surgeries.  Chelsea has a calm and caring personality that helps her bond with patients.  She especially loves to get puppy kisses!

When not working at the hospital, Chelsea also volunteers at an animal shelter.  She has worked in the animal care industry for 2 years and before joining our team she was employed at West Orange Animal Hospital.

Chelsea has 2 dogs.  Rosie is an 8 year old mutt and Riley is a 1 year old Pit bull.  She also lives with 1 cat who is 9 years old and named Bird.  Chelsea loves to play soccer, hike with her dogs, and spend time with friends trying new restaurants all over NJ!

Chantell Espinosa

Veterinary Technician

Chantell Espinosa joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in June 2017.  Chantell ‘s main responsibilities are helping doctors during appointments, running blood work and prepping patients for procedures.  Chantell really enjoys assisting doctors during surgery and calming animals down during and after appointments.

Chantell has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Seton Hall University and is also bilingual in Spanish.  She has been working in the animal care field for 5 years and her previous experience includes working at an animal shelter and making housecalls.  She also has experience with small animal medicine and emergency medicine.

When not working at All Creatures Great and Small, Chantell enjoys working out, playing racquetball, going to Broadway shows, and walking her dog.  Chantell lives at home with her 15 year old Dachshund, Buffy, her 3 year old DSH tiger cat, Angel, and her 1 year old tortie DSH cat, Willow.
